Music Collaboration

A musical project for teenagers with Idan Raichel.

About 20 youth aged 12-15 with and without disabilities participated in the project. There were 5 musical meetings with the composer Idan Raichel accompanied by a magical team of artists led by Hila Yaffe and Alon Ram (Inbal Barnea, Talia Bik).

The development of the project was done in full cooperation with the IMAGINE Association and with YPO.  The students of IMAGINE, which works to promote creative education throughout the country, participated in the project. During the sessions we learned a song by Idan Raichel, disassembled it and divided the group into roles. We experimented with body drumming, vocals,  accessible iPads, custom guitars and more. And of course, we enjoyed the presence of the mentor humself who was there to direct, teach and play with us together.

The project ended with an exciting performance by the youth in front of parents, friends and family. Among thise that came to surprise, cheer and get excited with us were the creator and actor Lee Biran, the singer Eden Meiri and the mime artist Hanoch Rosen.
